What is inQool about?

Main idea of inQool is bring to individuals and communities possibility of organization, realisation and progress through platform which also provide decentralization and control over own data. Motivation is provide to human being in informational age easy access to most services it’s already using or would like to use on the internet.

These days most popular social networks have private owners and non-public working code. inQool is open network that you can use as market, crossroad or meeting point where you can share, move forward or exchange ideas and experiences. InQool is trying to create the most intuitive and user friendly GUI and convey most services, which people in this informational world needs, without any restrictions.

These days there are many protests and riots all around the world, financial system seems going to strange collapse. That’s why there are many desires of people to disjoin this. Power of internet gives the ability to affect what’s happening, but also it’s possible to use it against people. InQool would like to be the tool, easy and accessible also as strong and open.

It is right time now to showcase and use services like alternative/supplement monetary systems like LETS or Bitcoin, P2P search engines like Yacy and other opensource projects like TOR and push them closer to ordinary people and show them it’s potential.

What’s the goal?

The goal is use and create API (application interface) to communicate over standard protocols, and send results back over inqool server using xmpp with some extended features. It depends on your client where how you will display the data to user. Because the server side is opensource, you can run your own server and have control over your data, but you can start federation mode. Because of federation possibility, other people can display data you choose. It’s possible to start private network of inQool servers where some data are provided, but the same servers can provide another data which are public on another networks. For better imagination of this, we will explain it on real wolrd example.

Many people are using some networks like MSN, Google+, Facebook or ICQ. Some of them are also using multi instant messangers like Pidgin, Jitsi or whatever to manage their daily contact with people. There are many other kinds of “services” like flickr, picassa, bitcoin, yacy, irc, ripple-project, dropbox, tor or what ever, but we cant see an open-minded initiative which provides independent platform with possibility to communicate with all these services.

That’s why the API is goal, you can see these days power of this effect on smarthphones for example, where many users are happy with their Apple or Google os. If you have your own or community server which is able to covey many kinds of APIs, there is need to build opensource client(s) for this and help people learn how they can use all the services not only for their own good. Many of us already knows that evolution is being digitized. Servers already running, that’s a reason why we need a client for people, for ideas.

Nature is wealthy because of difference. Nature is evolving because of difference. InQool wants to help human causes to connect and interact. Sustainable evolution in the collective good manner. That’s what we talk about.
